✨Ground Turkey Skillet✨⁣
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you’ve all had a great weekend so far! This ground turkey skillet is a great dinner (or lunch) idea and I think that it would meal prep very well. Ground turkey combined with veggies (you can definitely use whatever veggies you want!), spices, and tomato sauce served over rice (or any other grain)⁣
dEATs:⁣
-Brown 1 lb. of lean ground turkey in a bit of olive oil (~2 Tbsp) in a skillet⁣
-Once the turkey is almost fully cooked, add in one small diced onion and 1 teaspoon minced garlic⁣
-At this point, I also added salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the turkey mixture (I eyeballed all of these) and a pinch of red pepper flakes⁣
-Once the onions are nice and golden, add in 1 orange bell pepper (diced) and about 2 cups of fresh green beans (chopped up)⁣
-Also, mix in 3/4 cup tomato sauce⁣
-Cover the skillet and just let it all cook until the veggies are soft, checking and stirring every 5 or so minutes (I think mine took 15-20min to cook the veggies but it will depend on your veggies)⁣
-Once veggies are tender, turn off the heat and enjoy! I served mine over long grain brown rice that I cooked in some chicken broth in an Instant Pot⁣
